Our Purpose and Commitment
Bringing horses with special needs together with people facing their own challenges to foster compassion, empathy, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose. The program is dedicated to rehabilitating horses that would otherwise face slaughter, offering a safe and permanent home to animals affected by trauma, neglect, or disability.
Through ongoing care and training, these horses are prepared for therapeutic work, while volunteers are trained to understand and support their wellbeing. The initiative also delivers tailored programs for underprivileged children and adults, helping to build self-esteem, life skills, and positive pathways toward employment and meaningful participation in the community.

Our vision is to give every horse a valued, natural role and a renewed sense of purpose by supporting people on their own journeys of growth and self-discovery. At Healing Hooves, we provide safe, experiential, and interactive sessions where adults, young people, and children of all ages can find happiness, confidence, and self-esteem through positive and meaningful connections with horses.
Our goal is to enhance and support the wellbeing of individuals across the local community by creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where horses and people come together to experience love, trust, and purpose. Through therapeutic, engaging, and enjoyable interactions, we offer both clients and volunteers the opportunity to build connection, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Healing Hooves Inc welcomes volunteers who want to learn, connect, and have fun while working with horses and people with special needs. No experience is required — just a willingness to help and be part of something meaningful.
You can also support our horses by sponsoring their care. All donations go directly toward feed, veterinary care, training, and overall wellbeing. Sponsors are welcome to visit by appointment and receive updates on the horses they support.
