RIVER KEEPERS

Formed in 2000 to tackle issues in Kirkendale Environmental Park Nerang i.e., weed infestation and the dumping of residential rubbish. The group has planted over 10,000 trees and removed sections of the weed infestation from the middle Nerang River.

GOLD COAST AMATEUR BEEKEEPERS

The Gold Coast's longest standing beekeeping club, offering a friendly inclusive environment and training for new to senior beekeepers. The Society was formed at a meeting of nine people on 20/9/79 following an Adult Education course at the Gold Coast College of TAFE.

Nerang Mens Shed

Nerang Mens Shed is a place where men can share their skills and knowledge with others, learn new skills or redevelop old skills. Becoming a member of the Nerang Men’s Shed provides a safe and busy environment where you can find many of these things.

THE SHEILAS SHACK

Sheila Shack Inc  is a place where women of all ages meet for a cuppa & chat, attend workshops and celebrate special events.  Members work on their craft, play cards or just relax and enjoy a laugh! We care about our community and often fundraise for those in need around us.

Coast Acoustics Music Club

Coast Acoustics is a vibrant, volunteer-run music club bringing together musicians and music lovers from across the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. We provide a welcoming space for players and singers of all skill levels to connect, learn, and perform.

Edible Escapes

We are a public edible forest garden where the community grows, learns, and shares together. We practise syntropic agroforestry and regenerative gardening to inspire sustainable food systems. Our garden is open to all and invites community-led action for climate and care for the land.

NATIVE PLANTS QUEENSLAND (NPQ)

NPQ is a non-professional, NFP organisation that is open to all interested in studying, growing and conserving Australian plants. Our motto is ‘Cultivation, Conservation, Education’. The Gold Coast Branch is an active group with members ranging from novices to experts.

Wild About Agility Gold Coast (WAAG)

WAAG was established in 2002 and is a small not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers who train dogs using positive methods. People of all ages and dogs over 10 months old of any size are welcome to join weekly classes.
